noun noun: gratitude

  1. the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. "she expressed her gratitude to her friends for their support"

As part of my Sadhana I have included a Gratitude practice.

Gratitude may sound like a pretty simple thing to do as a daily practice, but did you know that the Emotional, Physical and Psychological benefits are HUGE?

Every night before I sleep I write in a diary what i'm grateful for.

What this does, is enables me to see and feel what I am Thankful for. It tells my subconscious "Ah yes, this makes me happy, I would like more of that".

What I find is that my sleep is deeper, I wake up feeling happy about the day ahead and my gratitude list is growing to epic proportions. I notice good things consciously and I am taking much less in my life for granted.I am less stressed and more creative. As a bonus, the great things in my life are miraculously multiplying and I am receiving money, opportunities and new connections very quickly all of a sudden. Who wouldn't like that?

As a spiritual practice, gratitude tells the universe that we would like more of that which makes us happy. It aligns with the Spiritual Laws of Magnetism and Economy. Meaning what we put out we get back and nothing is wasted.

The vibration of Gratitude encompasses Enthusiasm, Appreciation, Compassion, Humility and Abundance. Its a wonderful feeling to be Grateful.

Have you ever just sat on a beach, the breeze is the perfect slow wisp, the temperature is just right, the sunset in front of you is an everyday miracle and the sound of the waves softly crashing is music to your soul? You think in that moment- "Wow, this moment is just beautiful, how lucky am I to witness this?". That is one example of Gratitude- Its a feeling.

The reason an active and mindful practice of gratitude is so important is that it hooks us into the FEELING. When we are connected to the feeling it multiplies very quickly. It has a high vibration which helps us to create more good, it turns stress into something manageable, it helps us to find creative solutions to problems and allows us to see the good things that are already surrounding us.

If you are wanting to manifest something new, Gratitude is an essential part of that process.

Gratitude is an energetic blessing that the universe takes as an order to send more of.

Want more things to be grateful for? Have Gratitude.

Having Gratitude means having emotional maturity.

I encourage you to simply start a gratitude diary or write what you are happy for on post-it notes so that you can revisit the feeling. Its a great way to start and end a day.
